Returns & Refund Policy
This Returns & Refund Policy applies to all purchases made through www.nimmica.com, operated by DLR BV, trading as Nimmica, established in Belgium.
For any questions regarding returns, refunds, complaints, or warranty claims, customers may contact:

1. Nature of Products Sold
Nimmica sells, among other things:
-
roasted coffee beans;
-
ground coffee;
-
ready-to-drink coffee beverages;
-
coffee-related accessories;
-
merchandise;
-
gift cards and promotional items.
Certain products sold by Nimmica are perishable or hygiene-sensitive and are therefore excluded from the statutory right of withdrawal in accordance with applicable Belgian and European consumer legislation.
2. No Right of Withdrawal for Coffee & Perishable Goods
Pursuant to Article VI.53 of the Belgian Code of Economic Law and Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights, the consumer does not have the right to withdraw from the purchase of:
-
goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly;
-
sealed goods which are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene and were unsealed after delivery;
-
goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised.
Accordingly, all sales of the following products are final and non-refundable once the order has been confirmed and shipped:
-
roasted coffee beans;
-
ground coffee;
-
ready-to-drink coffee beverages;
-
subscription coffee deliveries;
-
limited edition or seasonal coffee releases.
Nimmica does not accept returns or exchanges for these products except in the event of:
-
proven transport damage;
-
manufacturing defect;
-
incorrect delivery attributable to Nimmica.
3. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Orders
The customer must inspect the goods immediately upon delivery.
Any visible damage to the packaging, including broken seals, tears, punctures, leakage, or other damage that may affect product quality, as well as any missing or incorrect items, must be reported within 48 hours after delivery by email to info@nimmica.com, including:
-
order number;
-
clear description of the issue;
-
photographic evidence where applicable.
Any hidden defect or lack of conformity must be reported in accordance with applicable mandatory law.
If the claim is accepted, Nimmica may, at its sole discretion:
-
replace the affected product;
-
issue store credit;
-
issue a partial or full refund.
Nimmica reserves the right to request return of the affected goods before processing compensation.
Differences in taste perception, flavour expectations, brewing method, grinder settings, water quality, or natural variation between batches shall not constitute a defect.
Coffee is an artisanal natural product. Flavour notes described on the website or packaging are indicative only and may vary depending on brewing method, grinder settings, water quality, and individual taste perception.
4. Right of Withdrawal for Accessories & Merchandise
Consumers purchasing non-perishable goods such as accessories or merchandise have the legal right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 calendar days after receipt of the goods, without giving any reason.
To exercise this right, the customer must notify Nimmica within the 14-day withdrawal period via email at info@nimmica.com.
The customer must return the goods within 14 calendar days after communicating the withdrawal.
Returned items must be:
-
unused;
-
undamaged;
-
in original packaging;
-
accompanied by proof of purchase.
Items returned without prior notification may be refused.
5. Return Shipping Costs
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the direct cost of returning goods shall be borne by the customer.
If the return is due to an error attributable to Nimmica, Nimmica shall bear the reasonable return costs.
Nimmica is not responsible for lost return shipments where the customer chooses an uninsured or untracked shipping method.
6. Refund Process
Refunds shall only be processed after receipt and inspection of the returned goods or after sufficient proof of return has been provided.
Approved refunds will be processed using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless otherwise agreed.
Nimmica shall process approved refunds within 10 business days.
Banks, payment providers, and credit card companies may require additional processing time beyond Nimmica’s control.
Shipping costs are non-refundable except where required by law or where the return results from an error attributable to Nimmica.
7. Non-returnable Items
The following items are non-returnable and non-refundable:

coffee and perishable goods;
-
opened or used accessories;
-
gift cards;
-
promotional items;
-
personalised/custom-made goods;
-
sale or clearance items unless defective.
8. Exchanges
Nimmica does not process direct exchanges.
Customers wishing to obtain another product must place a new order separately, subject to stock availability.
9. Legal Warranty
Consumers benefit from the statutory legal warranty of two (2) years for non-consumable consumer goods under Belgian law.
This warranty does not apply in cases of:
-
normal wear and tear;
-
misuse;
-
accidental damage;
-
improper storage or maintenance;
-
use inconsistent with product instructions.
Complaints under warranty must be reported within a reasonable time after discovery of the defect.
10. Limitation of Liability
Nimmica’s liability shall at all times be limited to the amount paid by the customer for the relevant order, except where such limitation is prohibited by mandatory law.
Nimmica shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, including but not limited to loss of profit, loss of business, or reputational damage.
11. Fraud Prevention
Nimmica reserves the right to refuse refunds, returns, or future orders in cases of suspected abuse, fraud, bad faith claims, or repeated excessive return behaviour.
12. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Belgian law.
Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Belgium, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.
